Ricami began as Saks India, a specialist embroidery atelier established in 1986 to serve international fashion houses.
We take pride in the quality we deliver.
Following a renaming and restructuring, the company now operates as Ricami Exports. We bring embroidery development, textile and surface manipulation, garment construction and production together under one roof.
Four decades of working with global fashion houses have shaped how we operate: close interpretation of the brief, technical precision, production consistency, confidentiality and dependable delivery.

Quality is monitored throughout development and production, not only before dispatch. Each run is assessed against the approved sample and specifications for workmanship, accuracy, consistency and finish.

A more responsible production approach
We minimise material waste wherever possible, reuse surplus fabrics, embroidery materials and sampling components internally, and plan materials carefully to reduce excess consumption. We support responsibly sourced and client-specified sustainable materials whenever available, and produce primarily to order, which helps minimise unnecessary inventory and waste.

Our team combines master artisans with decades of embroidery experience and a younger generation working across design development, materials and production. This allows traditional knowledge to be applied with the accuracy, organisation and responsiveness expected by international fashion houses.
